Terms & Conditions
Dear friends, family, freaks & especially geeks, we want you to make us a Music Video for our debut single, "So Beautiful." We know some of you are talented, and we're curious to see what you can do. We promise to watch every video that is submitted, and out of those 1 or 1 million, our favorite will have the chance of being released as our official music video. **Please try not to send us a video of just the noodz, we see ourselves naked all the time.
The Rules:
1) The contest runs from December 13, 2011 to January 13, 2012.
2) You must submit your Music Video entry by January 13, 2012 at 12 midnight (EST) to be eligible for the contest.
3) The winner will be selected after the closing date by Mia Moretti and Caitlin Moe, whose decision is final. The winner will be notified by email by or around January 16, 2012.
4) All audio and/or audio-video files made available to download, and all parts downloaded remain the property of Mia Moretti and Caitlin Moe. All Video Remixes completed, whether submitted in this competition or not, remain the property of Mia Moretti and Caitlin Moe. No exploitation, or distribution of remixes shall be permitted without the sole written consent of Mia Moretti and Caitlin Moe. By submitting an entry, you agree the Music Video is a “work made for hire” for Mia Moretti and Caitlin Moe and in the event that it is determined not to be a “work made for hire”, it shall be deemed assigned to Mia Moretti and Caitlin Moe, together with all rights therein. To the extent necessary, the assignment of rights agreement will be arranged directly with you.
5) Entry implies acceptance of these terms and conditions, which are legally binding. Mia Moretti and Caitlin Moe reserve the right to disqualify any applicant if it has reasonable grounds to believe the applicant has breached any of these rules.
6) Mia Moretti and Caitlin Moe’s decision is final. There is no cash alternative.
7) The winner’s name may be published online after the closing date of the competition. Mia Moretti and Caitlin Moe have the right to contact the winners for permission to involve them in any post prize-giving publicity and the winner agrees to such activities.
8) Mia Moretti and Caitlin Moe reserve the right to cancel or amend the terms of this competition at anytime without prior notice. Any changes will be posted.
9) In the event of unforeseen circumstances, Mia Moretti and Caitlin Moe retain the right not to select a winner or to offer an alternative prize or no prize.
10) Music Video entries must contain the original music and video content for “So Beautiful” only. Please do not use any parts of other people's records, or create a "mashup" for submission to the contest. Any remix with "illicit" samples will be disqualified. If additional video footage if used, it must be owned by you.
